I completed my PhD in philosophy of science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2016. My research focuses on the history and philosophy of the life sciences and physical anthropology, specifically on racialization practices in the history of science, in contemporary biomedical research and biometric technologies. As part of the GEOS project, I investigate the politics of knowledge production and the historical development of ethnobiology in Latin America.
