Luis Reyes Galindo

I am sociologist of science (PhD Cardiff University, UK) with previous studies in physics and philosophy of science (UNAM, Mexico). My research covers the sociology of theoretical physics, trust in science and expertise, fringe science, science communication, ‘post truth,’ Responsible Research and Innovation in Brazil, and the socio-cultural dimensions of digital academic publishing (Open Access); and, as a physicist, the Casimir effect. My current research for GEOS looks at ongoing debates in Mexican science policy-making and science communication at the HAWC Gamma-ray observatory.
